What is a patent
A patent it is a title by which it is obtained the right to exploit exclusively the invention. The patent gives its holder the faculty of to prevent others from making, selling or using the invention without your permission.

The duration of the patent is twenty years to count from the date of filing of the application. To maintain it in force, it is necessary to pay annual fees from its concession.
